The frustrations of any game can get the better of even the most experienced gamer, and the desire to cheat has existed since the advent of computer games in the second half of the 20th century. While, in the modern gaming world, game manufacturers might create add-ons or plug-ins to give players opportunities to find “secrets” hidden within the levels of the game, this is not the case across the entire spectrum of the gaming world. While forums exist that are a hotbed of conspiracy towards online bingo providers – claiming variously that games are rigged, prizes are exaggerated and winners are proxies – the reality remains that there are several steps in place to ensure that the field remains level for every player.

The most salient measure to ensure the fairness of online bingo is the use by the game providers of random number generators (RNGs) to protect the integrity of each ball selection. These generators use mathematical algorithms entrenched in its code to create each card and call each number completely randomly, making each ball called and card issued a singular event for each player.

These RNGs protect the provider not only from accusations of unfair selection, but also act as a measure of security against any hacker attempting to introduce their own code into that of any given provider. In truth, this action would require a level of skill rivalling that of cyber-intelligence experts, all of whom have bigger fish to fry than earning a few thousand pounds in online bingo rooms.

In the United Kingdom, this whole concept has been further confounded by the establishment in 2005 of the UK Gambling Commission. The Commission monitors all forms of gambling – of which bingo is one – and has the power to inspect, fine and even suspend companies that have operated outside the confines of the law, including regard to the random generation of cards and numbers. The licensing powers of the Commission mean that companies both based in the UK and overseas must adhere to strict conditions, while the regular inspections undertaken on all aspects of online bingo provision – from the utilisation of software to the correct payments to players – make it incredibly difficult for bingo providers to operate unlawfully.

Texas Holdem is just a variation of the other poker games that came before it. The rules themselves are rather simple to learn once you get the hang of it. It is the strategy that keeps people playing the game every day. In online poker you start with between 2 and 9 people playing at a single table. Each of the players is dealt two cards from the deck face down. These cards are their cards alone and they do not share what these cards are with any other players. Before they are even dealt these cards though, each player is required to put in a small amount of their chips or money into the pot. Typically this is done in the form of a small blind and a big blind. The small blind requires the player to put in less money than the big blind, but the blinds rotate to each player around the table at the end of each hand.

If you are going to continue to play your hand, then you must put in at least the amount of the big blind into the pot. If you want to put in more this is called a raise. Once you have done this, then all other players who want to continue to play their hands must put in the amount that you have raised to. If you feel that you do not have good cards, then you do not have to continue to play and you put no money in the pot. This process is called folding. Once all players have decided if they are going to continue playing and have put in the proper amount into the pot, then the dealer puts three cards in the middle of the table face up. These cards are known as community cards and all players at the table use these cards to try to form the best hand. If you are holding a King in your hand and another King is now one of the community cards, then you have a pair of Kings.

After those three cards have been dealt, then another round of betting opens up. You follow the same procedures that you did in the opening round of betting only with the players that have not already folded. If all players but one fold, then there is no need to go any farther at that point. If that happens, then the one remaining player has won the pot. These steps are followed through two more community cards played out one at a time unless all but one players folds. If at least two players play out all the way through all five community cards, then those remaining players are required to show their cards. The player with the best hand wins the pot at that point. The game plays on like this the same way for as long as the players have predetermined.

All casinos, poker rooms online, and offline play by the same rules. The first thing you must know is that all 52 cards are used to play poker in most cases; however, the joker may or may not be used. The joker is often only seen in Draw Poker games and is not used in Texas Hold’em, other hold’em games, and stud poker. Cards are ranked from highest to lowest with the Ace at the top. The King, Queen, and Jack come next in that order and then 10 all the way down to the 2 often referred to as the deuce. The Ace can be used at the top or the bottom as a one for straights or even for the lowest card. In practically all poker games, only the five best cards are counted even if you are playing a seven-card game. Here is the breakdown so you will know if you have a good hand.

If a joker is in play, the best hand a person can have is a five of a kind with five Aces at the top of the list. If no joker is in play, the best hand is the straight flush. A straight flush is five cards of the same suit such as all spades, all hearts, all clubs, or all diamonds. Of course, the cards must be in order to be a straight such as five diamonds from 5 to 10. A Royal Flush is the best hand, which includes the Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten.

Four of a kind comes next. All four cards must be the same card, such as all tens, kings, etc… with the higher the card ranking the better. The best of course would be four Aces. Next is the Full House. A full house is three cards that have the same rank and then a pair. The higher the three cards the better such as 3 Kings and 2 5’s. Of course, the person with the higher three cards will beat other players. The flush is next. A flush is cards of the same suit, but not in order. This means you can have five hearts of any rank. The person with the highest rank card will win if everyone has a flush.

The straight is next with five cards in order from various suits. This means you can have 1 ace space, 1 diamond king, 1 heart queen, 1 club jack, and 1 spade 10. The suit does not matter. Three of a kind means the same card such as all three kings. The next is a two pair of the same such as 2 Aces and 2 fives. The last one is one pair such as 2 tens. Of course if no one has any of the above, the person with the highest card will win the hand.
